Fuel System

I had my car firing at this point, but it wouldn't run continuously. The issues were that it had a dirty carburetor and the fuel lines were all bad; either rotted, plugged, or punctured in various places. Once I replaced all the fuel line, rebuild the carb, and connected a new fuel filter, it was running great.
"new" core.

dury old carb. I think this is the one from the other car. I took pictures of it incase I took it off and couldn't figure out how to reassemble it. NOTE: pictures are life savers. TAKE THEM

painted the air filter cover. I started cleaning one-part-at-a-time. So that it would inspire be bit by bit.

fuel pump. May look a bit sorry, but it works.

Fuel tank removed and cleaned-ish.

bottom of tank.

That Won't Work! The old oil filler tube had retired years before I got hold of it.

Some fuel hose, a filter, a posible fuel filler tube (I ended up finding a better tube), and the pump.

YUCK! The old carb looked real sorry indeed.

The fuel inlet filter was completely clogged up with gunk.

Rebuilt carb ready to go.
